The Introduction To Construction Program includes Essential Skills for the trades and hands-on shop time in welding, piping (3 trades), drywall trades, and cement finishing. After hands-on exposure in a variety trades, most students are able to make a career decision in the final week..
This course is designed to give you the hands-on knowledge that will help you decide which trade is right for you. You will train at a number of different construction trade training schools, reviewing several trades that are relevant and in high demand.
You will get to experience trade options that you may never have considered as a future career. We assist with job search techniques for the trades, resumes and cover letters, and action plans
This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.
